Electronic Gifts For RVs

Electronic RV Gifts

There are some important safety and nifty electronics you can purchase for your RV gift recipient.

Ambient Weather WR-111B Emergency Solar Hand Crank AM/FM/NOAA Digital Radio, Flashlight, Cell Phone Charger with NOAA Certified Weather Alert & Cables

If your RV gift recipient does not have a weather alert radio, do them a favor and purchase one for their safety.  As we travel in our motorhome across the U.S., we have found ourselves in different severe weather.   Once while overnighting in a small town in Georgia, we were awoke to a tornado watch.  Definitely not the news you want to hear when in an RV but fortunately we had a weather alert to notify us.  Click here for more weather radio choices.

Garmin nüvi 1490LMT 5-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Map & Traffic Updates

A GPS is not just for the directionally challenged!  When traveling in an RV in areas that are unfamiliar, it is great to have a GPS to guide the way.  Click here for more GPS models.

Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Self-Setting Projection Clock, Silver

We have an older model of the Oregon Scientific Projection clock and absolutely love it!  My parents gave us one for our RV years ago and it is still going strong.   In the RV, the time is projected on the bottom of the cabinets over the bed that since it sits on the “headboard/shelf” under the cabinets.  We loved this projection clock so much, we purchased one for the “stick house”. Click here for more projection clock styles.

Mastercool MSC52224A Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer with Laser

The Mastercool Infrared Thermometer with laser is a great way to measure the temperature coming from the air conditioning/heat vents and to check the temperature of the RV tires.  If there is a variance in the temperature of a tire, it means the tire is low on air.  This is especially helpful on RVs that have dual tires on the rear as the inside tires are more difficult to see. Featured Destination

Yellowstone National Park is my favorite national park so far. There is such a variety of things to see at Yellowstone including wildlife and geological wonders. To fully appreciate the park, you will probably want to spend more than one day as the park is very large. Be sure to see Old Faithful geyser.
